HOW WE MEET

We met each other at school, While I was in grad school,and she was undergrad.We met at this school event.It was a campus event where you pay a dollar.And you eat different foods from different student organizations of different countries. And we were standing in line and we had a mutual friend who introduced us and we started talking, just like all three of us.And you were standing out, because you're so tall.So I remember you have a very beautiful smile.And we started hanging out for like a year. And just being friends for a year.And after a year, we just kind of like started hanging out more just by ourselves.And it kind of transitioned to a romantic relationship.

PROPOSAL

Our proposal was quite spontaneous. One weekend afternoon, I took you back to the campus where we first met and we strolled together around the track we always walked, reminiscing about our shared memories. As if by chance, I slipped the ring out of my pocket, took your hand, and asked, “Will you marry me?” You smiled brightly, nodded, and gave me a warm embrace.
