HOW WE MEET
From the moment we first met, I coundn't stop thinking about your big bright eyes and soft voice, having to come into the office and focus on work while the love of my life was sitting 2 desks away was nothing short of heroic, but somewhere between the long coffee breaks we stole at Zoka and our first few dates watching the sunset at Gasworks Park. I realized it wasn't just your eyes or voice that drew me in, it was that for the first time since moving away for college. I felt like I had found a home away from home whether it's following me down to the Bay Area for work or following the Caltrain all the way to San Jose. After I fell asleep, you shown me again and again what love and commitment really mean.
PROPOSAL
That evening, I invited you to the Gasworks Park to watch the sunset. The golden sunlight dyed the lake into warm colors. I took you to the proposal site I had prepared, gently held your hand, and said, "Remember the long coffee time we stole in Zoca? At that moment, I understood that no matter where I am, as long as I am with you, my heart is at peace." Then I took out the ring from my pocket, knelt on one knee, and proposed to you. You were stunned for a moment, tears flashing in your eyes, then nodded gently, smiled and said, "I do." The breeze was blowing in the park, the afterglow of the sunset sprinkled on us, and your gentle "I do" seemed to be the most beautiful beginning.
