Details: Livescope mounting system includes 12 inch baseplate to solidly hold downrod. Transducer mounts vertically on the bottom of the downrod and is in alignment with the handle. Handle points direction of transducer. Gravity held means it is quick to deploy (just drop it in the cup) and retrieve (just pick it up). Transducer is not locked to the baseplate and may be stored on the deck of the boat.
